The project is part of the Pernambuco Water Sustainability Plan, PSHPE and it is financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
Currently, the structural works are 89% complete, with a total 6.141 m³ of concrete applied. The construction of the pumping stations is 65% complete, with 928 m2 of total concrete applied. Once completed, it will benefit more than 105,000 people.
With this project, ACCIONA continues to consolidate its presence in the water treatment sector in Brazil through its Water business, following the construction of the Arrudas WWTP, in the State of Minas Gerais, and the Alcântara WWTP, in the neighbouring State Rio de Janeiro.
