ACCIONA Agua will build four water depuration plants in Egypt for 17, 1 million Euros
The contract includes the supply, operation and maintenance of the four plants.
ACCIONA Agua will build four water depuration plants in different locations in Egypt, after the agreement signed on the 24th of last January by the persons responsible for the company with the Egyptian authorities. The contract has a cost of 17, 1 million Euros, which have been financed by Spain with charge to the Spanish-Egyptian Financial Protocol of 1998.
ACCIONA Agua will be in charge of the design, supply, operation and maintenance of the four plants, which will be located in Abnoub-El Fath, Sodfa-El Ghanayem, El Ayat y Abu Simbel, according to the agreement signed with the National Organization for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage (NOPWASD).
The contract was signed between the President of NOPWASD, Engineer Samy Mahmoud Omarah, and the Director of the Department of International Construction for the Mediterranean and Middle East of ACCIONA Agua, Manuel Manjón, in an act with the assistance of the Economy and Commercial Advisor of the Spanish embassy, Enrique Feás.
