Date: 11/30/2011On the centenary of the arrival of Amundsen and Scott at South Pole, ACCIONA is launching an expedition to Antarctica which, for the first time ever, will demonstrate the efficiency of an eco-efficient vehicle as a means of transport and for taking supplies to the Polar Regions.
The project aims to lay down the logistics and scientific foundations for developing stable research programs in the Polar Regions and sets out, in particular, to study the effects of climate change.

ACCIONA Agua commissions its first desalination plant in Algeria
Date: 08/08/2011The Fouka desalination plant, which is already functioning at full capacity, treats 120,000 m3 of water per day and supplies 500,000 people.
ACCIONA Agua will operate the plant for 25 years, representing a backlog of 790 million dollars.
