DREAMER

The aim of LIFE DREAMER is to make the reverse osmosis desalination process more sustainable. To this end, it is foreseen to recover more water from the desalination process, reduce the energetic consumption, minimize the use of chemicals and reuse the concentrated streams. The project will be carried out in a pilot plant that will be installed at La Tordera desalination plant premises (Girona, Spain).

The LIFE DREAMER project is coordinated by ACCIONA Agua and counts with the participation of the companies AQUASTILL and WE&B.

RAMSES

RAMSES

Given the current situation of deficit of water, it is essential to use all possible resources available. The LIFE RAMSES project will search to improve the quality of reclaimed water by applying new anaerobic purification techniques with plastic supports on the principal line of a Water Waste Treatment Plant (WWTP), reducing treatment costs and increasing the volume of irrigation water in agriculture.

The project is being carried out at Blanca WWTP, it is coordinated by ACCIONA Agua and counts with the participation of ESAMUR and the contribution of the LIFE financial instrument of the European Union.

CELSIUS

The LIFE-Celsius Project, with the contribution of the LIFE financial instrument of the European Union, proposes to use an innovative system for wastewater treatment in warm climate areas, characterized by low energy consumption. The project is coordinated by Acciona Agua and counts with the participation of Agencia EFE through its EFE Green Platform, with the aim of expanding the impact of the project and approaching it to the society.

The proposed system is based on the use of non-conventional wastewater treatment technologies with low energy consumption, like anaerobic processes, especially if they are run in warm climate regions. The project is implemented at pilot plant scale, located at the premises of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) of Archena (Murcia) and the expected results can be extrapolated to any other WWTP.
