    ACCIONA completed its first venture in Peru, the Majes-Arequipa Valley hydroelectric and irrigation project, in 1974. Activity in Peru commenced again approximately a decade ago when the company was awarded several water projects, and ACCIONA Forwarding introduced its logistics solutions. The company has completed notable water treatment projects there, including the Talara desalination plant and the La Chira, Arqeuipa waste water treatment plants and several water service contracts in Lima.
